The Diploma in Engineering is a THREE YEAR program which aims to provide students with the basic knowledge of engineering. A student is eligible to apply for Diploma after completion of 10th grade (S.S.C.). It is considered equivalent to H.S.C. and students can apply for admission to ENGINEERING DEGREE Programs after successful completion of Diploma. Students become eligible to apply directly to the Second Year of Degree in Engineering. After completion of Diploma in Engineering, students can also apply for jobs. Diploma holders are generally employed as supervisors or junior engineers at companies. But, it is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED to study further and complete ENGINEERING DEGREE for better career prospects.
